Description
Combining a homey design with a romantic patina, this vintage wooden cabinet epitomizes the charm of French country style. Built in rural France at the turn of the century, the spacious upper and lower cupboards are separated by an alcove which serves as an open workspace. The curved shaped of the supporting brackets add a graceful structural note. The cupboard doors slide open on tracks; round wooden knobs add a simple decorative accent. Perhaps the most eye-catching element of the composition is its weathered finish: a muted color palette of cream, white and natural wood, inflected in places with a lacy craquelure.
