A unique, octagonal shaped French mahogany side table with many delicate and superbly processed details. This antique French side table offers two compartmens with amazing looking veneered mahogany surfaces, building an exceptional star pattern. Refined, artfully executed brass applications around the edges combined with extraordinary shaped, solid slender feet makes this Napoleon III side table a real eye-catcher. The profiled brass fillet around the tabletop finalizes the incredible look and adds this item a real noble appearance. The traditional hand-polished shellac finish reinforces the beautiful grain and completes the rich feel of this gorgeous French side table from the late 19th century.
