An Italian walnut floating dining table designed by Afra & Tobia Scarpa, made by Sapporo for Mobil Girgi, 1970's. The canted legs are connected to a horizontal stretcher, which support the top, creating the visual effect of a floating table top. The surface wood is placed in different directions in the mid-section and on either end, creating a graphic play in tones and lines. The walnut is a rich beautiful color, this is a stunning organic modern piece which would complement any setting and style of chair. This impressive piece fits 8 to 10.
