Description
An early Model 70 side table in birch by Alvar Aalto. Produced by Oy Huonekalu-ja Rakennustyötehdas Ab, 1940s. The L-leg design shows a solid leg with integrated ply which allows the wood to curve. Originally bought by Bristol architect Ralph Brentnall in the 1940s from prominent Bristol-based furniture manufacturer and retailer, PE Gane. Good vintage condition. Provenance; Brentnall family collection.
