Antique Rajasthan Courtyard Door Dining Table 19th Century

Description
Antique Rajasthan Courtyard Door Dining Table, India, 19th Century.
This is a large antique Indian dining table from the 19th century, made out of an earlier - probably 18th century - Rajasthan courtyard door.
In the 19th century in India it was quite common to turn these types of impressive old doors into tables. The segmented table top in wood and metal is resting on four turned baluster style legs connected with metal stretchers and wonderfully carved spandrels. Very good patina with visible traces of paint and wonderful wear on the wooden and metal surfaces.
A very unusual and attractive piece, would be amazing in a wabi sabi style interior with brutalist touches.
