Description
Beautiful rectangular Art Deco Sofa or Coffee Table in burl wood veneer and lacquer from France around 1930.
Thuja burl/root wood (also called Ceder wood any similar to Amboyna burl) and bird's eye maple veneer. High-quality lacquered and polished to a high gloss.
The linear shape contrasts with the vividness of the veneer, which is wonderfully accentuated by the high-gloss finish.
Small cracks in the lacquer where the veneer parts stand together.
