Description
Brueton "DT DRUM" Double Pedestal Dining Table, Ebonized Wood Top
Offered for sale in a Brueton "DT Drum" steel and ebonized wood double pedestal rectangular dining table. An exemplar of Modern Minimalist elegance, this rare documented dining table from the Drum series by Brueton features a rectangular ebonized wood top supported by two cylindrical pedestals of sturdy pine, clad in mirror-polished stainless steel. The Drum series was a collection of customizable tables built around the titular cylindrical "drum" base, which was metal-clad, seamlessly welded and finished in a variety of finishes, including polished and satin stainless steel, acid washed gray, Rich-Low bronze, "Brueton Bronze", and various colors of Brueton opaque lacquer. These Drum bases came in a variety of sizes, allowing them to function on their own as side tables and display pedestals - or - when paired with tops of stone, wood, or glass - as coffee tables and dining tables (CT and DT Drum models, respectively). -
