Description
Brutalism; collectible design; Thomas Serruys; coffee table; 2019.
This one-of-a-kind coffee table is made out of steel and cement and has an industrial and brutalist approach.
Thomas Serruys, 1986, is a Belgian designer born in Bruges. Fascinated by machinery, technique, and crafts he founded his atelier in the summer of 2016 in the port of Ostend. Working closely beside an experienced blacksmith for the last ten years enabled Thomas to open his eyes to the possibilities of creating & producing a piece that only existed in imagination before. He considers it a challenge to use the right material on the right project. -
