The circular top is composed of adjoining cast glass squares in alternating teal-green and gold tones, each finished with Dutch metal leaf that lends a subtle metallic shimmer. The artist introduced a one-eighth–inch variation between the height of each square, creating a dynamic optical swirl across the surface that shifts beautifully with light and perspective.

The five-sided cast bronze pedestal base features slide-in glass panels that repeat the checkerboard pattern, integrating the design from top to base.
