Description
Poised and sculptural, this Cesare Lacca side table captures the effortless glamour of 1950s Italian design. A lightly patinated solid brass tripod rises in a graceful flare, capped by a signature ring finial, and supports a slim, honed travertine disk. The profile is airy; the materials, luxurious. It’s the kind of small table that finishes a room without ever feeling fussy.
Designer & era
Architect and designer Cesare Lacca helped define the mid-century Italian look—sleek brass structures, lyrical curves, and superb materials used with restraint. Known for his bar carts and occasional tables, Lacca’s work is prized for its balance of lightness and craft. This model exemplifies that language: elegant lines, impeccable proportion, and a tactile mix of stone and metal.
