Description
Very fine George II mahogany partner's desk in the manner of Thomas Chippendale. Possessing a large work surface with an inset gilt tooled brown leather top over a row of drawers to both faces on the frieze, over generous pedestals, each with a rank of drawers to one side and a cabinet door concealing folio dividers to the other, standing on a plinth base. Retaining original locks and rococo hardware. Pine interior showing original red wash often found on products from the Chippendale workshop.
Knee opening: 30" wide x 24" high. -
