Featured here is a magnificent Christian Krekels Coffee Table of oblong shape comprised of a resin top intricately inlaid with cross sections of mineral pyrite surmounted on an enameled brownish-black steel base, each leg with three stepped back supports. Signed on the top’s edge with a gold plate. The array of irregularly shaped silver and taupe stones create a dazzling muted pattern, jewel-like in intricacy, tones and craftsmanship. Classic, yet modern, this timeless cocktail table is compatible with just about every design style and will elevate any room from ordinary to the extraordinary.

Krekels who was born in 1942 in Begium began his career as a sculptor. He studied at the Institute des Arts Saint-Luc in Torunai. After he graduated the Institute, he worked primarily as a diamond designer and then channeled his talents into sculpting both figurative and abstract sculptures and creating his distinctive tables.

All of Krekels talents as a jeweler, sculptor and furniture furniture designer converge into this unique, jewel-like and meticulously crafted work of art.
