Rare, fine and diminutive cocuswood sofa table, ex collection of Doris Duke, the top with ebony string inlay and purpleheart cross banding, having two flap leaves and single drawer and standing on down-swept legs joined by "h" stretcher, and ending in unusual anthemion motif brass toes and original casters.
Retains Christie's tag from the 2004 sale of the collection of Doris Duke.
