Description
A Southern German or North Italian Walnut Draw-Leaf Table of elegant, unique design.
The draw-leaf mechanism allows flexibility, from seating comfortably six when closed to ten when extended. The extension leaves can be pulled out from under the top on either side to easily make room for additional guests when needed.
The top and leaves above a surrounding frieze, supported by four uniquely sculpted legs, joined by flat, rounded half-moon shaped stretchers, joined in the middle and supported by a ball foot and topped by a finial. The legs ending in flat ball feet. With perfect lines and proportions and a beautiful deep, rich patina.
