Description
Hand sculpted base with blackwood pegs and splines at points of exposed, mortise and tenon joinery. Hand-rubbed oil finish. Top is solid 2.5" thick mahogany (in pictured version) with curved front edge and underside and angled back and sides. Ebonized treatment is used to darken the mahogany and then is burnished and mildly distressed to allow rich mahogany red to show selectively. Oil finish and/or durable varnish topcoat. Other wood choices are available.
