Description
This particular solid white oak table/stand was built to display sculpture but could be recreated in a variety of lower heights for use as a side table. This is all solid wood; the base is hand sculpted to its graceful, fluid form with reverse-tapered legs and bridle joints where lower and upper rails intersect. The top rails connect to legs with partially exposed mortise and tenon joinery oriented to create a "floating" effect of top. The exposed joinery is through-pegged with blackwood pegs that are trimmed slightly proud of leg surfaces. Please contact me to discuss other wood, size options.
