English 19th Century Pine Farmhouse Table

English 19th century dining table made of pine rippling in soft texture and color, ideal for six guests with room up to eight. The planks forming the top feature raised grain that is smooth to the touch and variably patinated from time & use as a multipurpose farm table, serving harvests and family meals. Robust legs with turned rings that accentuate the tapering profile hold up the mass of the table, adding a touch of refinement and additional interest to the proportions. Curiously there is only one stretcher bar fitted to a short side. Gently cleaned and polished with a French paste wax to maintain the historic character of the table, ready for its next home. We believe this to be in good antique condition considering its age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos.
