Ercole Home Large, Square Art Glass Mosaic Dining Table with Iron Base, NYC

Offered for sale is a monumental vintage Erole Home mosaic art glass dining table that is supported upon an iron base. The top is removable and has a pattern of hand blown black glass mosaic art glass tile with a central square of glass tiles in blues.
Ercole was founded in 1986 by Ornella Pisano wanted to create pieces of mosaic furniture and décor which would be, in themselves, works of art. Ercole’s product line is unique. Every collection is designed and directed by Ornella, and each piece is hand made in New York, in a studio principally staffed by women artisans.
The table does have signs of vintage wear with flaws to the glass and the grouting as shown.

This piece was donated by Ercole Home to Tibet House in NYC for a charity auction in 2018. There are communications from Ercole House documenting and describing the table.
