Description
Massachusetts, coastal region or Boston, ca. 1805-1815.
Mahogany, flame birch veneer, secondary wood, white pine
Over-all in great condition, some refinishing to top.
The table has a serpentine front with turret corners conforming to the case supported by finely turned tapered and carved reeded legs. The skirt is finished with beautiful flame birch panels surrounded by mahogany banding and divided with raised moldings on the front. The table is further complemented by its exceptional form.
