Description
Probably Italian, ca. 1730-1750.
Carved giltwood and gesso, looking glass, horse hair backing.
Having a central carved shell motif flanked by floral design ears with the original looking glass above a carved central pendant flanked by “C” scrolls.
Provenance: Deaccessioned from Mount Vernon, Private Collection, Donor.
