A Rare Pair of Italian MId-Century Modern Aluminum & Glass Side, End or Coffee Tables attributed to Fontana Arte from the 1935 to 1950 period. These tables go back to the early use of aluminum in Italian design in the 1930's. The bases are iconic and dramatic in form resembling a spider. The bold angled legs and angled glass supports elegantly emanate from a circular central focus point adding their vibrancy and vitality. Their black finish adds to their minimalist drama and they are topped by thick Italian glass. Dimensions: Each Base is 32.75W 13D x 15 H. Each Glass is 34.75W x 17D (0.6H). Priced as a Pair.
