An Iconic Italian Mid-Century Modern Floor Lamp known as 'Sintesi Terra' by Ernesto Gismondi for Artemide, Italy, 1976. This innovative light in green and black enameled steel pioneered the "high tech aesthetic" in lighting design. The sleek lines, transparent steel shade and sharp color contrast defined a new look. In addition, the the ability to manipulate the shade allowing mutability provided great functionality. Sintesi is still sought after for its minimal, industrial like appearance and brings diversity, excitement and charm to an interior. The lams is equipped with one Edison socket and is tamped with makers marks on the bottom of base. Dimensions: H fully extended 69.75, H with shade level 66". Diameter of base is 9".
