A Rare and Intriguing Italian Midcentury Modern Counter Balance and Cantilevered Floor Lamp in Chrome and White Enameled Metal Attributed to Arteluce, Italy, circa 1965-1970. The piece combines great diversity of movement and total lighting flexibility with a bold, minimal profile. The design aesthetic is light and ethereal, yet dynamic and playful. The piece also allows amazing functionality, It can direct light as needed on an object, piece of furniture, wall or ceiling. The movable chrome arm with round counterbalance weight rotates up and down is set upon a chrome stem; at the end of the arm is a 360 degree rotating white enamel reflector. The dimensions are variable according to the positioning of the movable arm. The dimensions shown are with arm extended for maximum height or width: : H 72" x W 62.5" x D 8"
