French 19th Century Pine Farm Table

$ 7,200
  • Description
    Dimensions: 30 ¼” H x 98 ½” W x 38” D

    A 19th-century French farm table made from solid pine, circa 1870. The top consists of four long tongue and groove planks whose patina combines with the wood grain and knots to create a nicely varied surface. Visible throughout the piece are the pegs inserted into the wood to secure the table’s joints. Six square legs support the tabletop and taper downward. It appears that at one point, small wooden blocks were joined to the feet to provide additional height. This table is suitable for a range of design styles and can comfortably accommodate 8–10 sitters. Gently cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, ready for use in your interiors. We believe this to be in good antique condition considering its age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos. Please view the detailed image gallery for the current condition or reach out with any questions.
