Description
Dimensions: 30 ⅛” H x 31 ⅜” W x 31 ⅜” D
A versatile (and reversible) French mahogany game table from the early 1900s in the style of Louis XVI for a timeless look to suit a range of entertaining needs. There is an inset panel on the table’s upper surface that may be flipped over, on the one side is green felt trimmed in Greek-key gold tooling–ideal for playing cards or rolling dice–to the black leather surface on the opposite side. Two hidden leaves tucked into the table apron (just above the drawers) also feature leather surfaces to match. Lifting out the leather-felt panel entirely reveals a parquetry chessboard of 64 tiles alternating between mahogany and ash wood for graphic contrast. Ribbed brass accents protect the corners, transitioning into fluted, tapered legs. Cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, this metamorphic occasional table is ready to join your interior.
