Description
French 17th century Rustic Farm Table, or Console, or Desk, or Dining Table of bold, Medieval appearance. The massive 2.5" two-plank top with bread board ends is supported by an unusual trestle base consisting of shaped end-pieces connected by three conforming middle pieces of slightly smaller size and a simple horizontal trestle-bar. Stark and beautiful in its simplicity, proportions and age-old patina it can be used for many different functions and give character and personality to an interior.
The table is photographed in 'as found' condition.
Any restoration, clean up and bees wax finish where needed will be taken care of by our restorers at no additional cost. -

Origin: France Period: Pre 18th Century Materials: Wood (Beech) Condition: Good. Wear consistent with age and use, Some re-gluing at the bottom of the legs, some replaced pegs, age cracks, dormant insect damage.
