Göran Malmvall, Swedish Mid-Century Modern, Dining Set, Pine, Sweden, 1970s

Set of six solid pine dining chairs and a solid pine dining table designed by Göran Malmvall for Svensk Fur in Sweden during the second half of the 20th century. Each chair features a solid pine construction with a unique cut out at the top of the backrest. The rustic dining table heaviliy resembles work by Axel Einar Hjorth. These works were designed by Malmvall as sports cabin furniture.
