Description
This monumental single-slab coffee table features expansive free-edges, highly figured grain, striking knot details, and a butterfly joint on the underside.
Deep grooves on the face of the coffee table give it a sculpted quality. George Nakashima believed that the true natural forms of a tree transform into furniture with "warts and all," and that this transformation constitutes a rebirth -- an awakening. -
