Description
A beautiful maple desk or console table attributed to Gio Ponti, Italy, c.1950. This curvaceous desk has a single central drawer and four turned, tapered legs with brass sabots. A turquoise coloured under-painted glass top sits flush within the french polished wooden surround and central back support. The rear of the piece is also polished allowing this to be positioned centrally within the room if desired - An elegant and finely built piece of furniture from another age!

Wear consistent with age and use. The desk has been recently re-polished and re-finished.
