Description
A pair of Mod. LTA6 'Porcino' table lamps by the Milanese designer Luigi Caccia Dominioni. Designed for Azucena in the late 1960s, the lamp's shape is reminiscent of the humble 'mushroom', as its Italian name suggests. A large domed glass diffuser gently rests on three arms that are connected to the chromed brass cylindrical base below. The hand-blown satin glass diffuser has a clear glass band which encircles the lower rim... this gives it a light and airy feel that seems to hover or float above the base. A great pair of minimalist lights from one of Italy's celebrated mid-century designers.
