Description
Rosewood coffee table, H. Wouda, 1930s The Netherlands
Solid rosewood coffee table from Dutch Hague School designer Hendrik Wouda. This piece is quite exuberant in the use of material, the top part of the table showing the beautiful grain of the crown cut rosewood. The style of this table signifies a cross-over between art deco and modernism. Expressionist, yet simplistic. The bottom tier provides some handy storage possibilities. -
