-
Description
This beautiful circular walnut centre table, previously thought to be designed by Gio Ponti, was produced by the highly regarded Italian furniture company, I.S.A, circa 1950. This company was based in the northern Italian town of Bergamo, where they produced many famous pieces designed by some of the best architect and designers of the period. This table has a wonderful quarter-cut veneer tabletop which attaches to a tapered conical wooden centre support and sits within an elegant tripod of brass legs. A superb piece for a hallway or similar.
