French Midcentury Bronze & Travertine Console, Jean-Michel Frank
-
Description
An elegant and timeless French Mid-Century Modern neoclassical bronze console / sofa table in the style of Alberto and Diego Giacometti for the French interior design Luminaire, Jean-Michel Frank. The stunning piece features a Minimalist presentation with it's pure, linear structure and the supporting legs united by a Neoclassical X form stretcher. The table transcends this with its dramatic, ancient, Etruscan style Hammer work highlighting the legs and feet, completing the masterpiece of design. An elegant piece of Roman travertine is inset into the top.
