  • Description
Wonderful Art Deco Console Table in Patinated Iron and Tiles 1940s.

A stunning and rare art deco console or hall table in patinated iron and tiles. Probably French or Belgian, 1930s - 1940s. Resembles works by Jean-Michel Frank and Diego Giacometti.

Nice robust yet very elegant design with the crossed stretcher with large ball element in the middle. Pointy lance-like ends where the stretchers join the legs. Just the right amount of subtle ornamentation. Shows a wonderful hand made quality and the different tonalities in the colors of the tiles make for a very honest and tactile appearance. Wonderful patina all over.

Just a piece that makes your space sing. A true gem.

Comes in a very good and original condition - signed at the underside.
