Description
This unique and brilliantly proportioned Mid-Century Modernist Boca Desk in Bookmatched Walnut W/ Tapered Black Lacquer Support is by Leon Rosen for Pace and originates from the United States Circa 1980. Formed in a lovely hue of bookmatched walnut with black lacquer cylindrical elements supporting the cabinetry to the right of the desk and with a singular tapered back lacquer support to the left of the piece, this desk is striking and cohesive while remaining highly functional and with every detailing functional and integrated within the design. The Cabinet to the right features three drawers, a large drawer at the bottom substantial enough to hold files with two additional shallow drawers ideal for writing implements and supplies to serve any need imaginable. The top surface of the desk is particularly stunning, flat on the front with an elegant swooping curve that leads from the upper right corner curving left towards the sitter when viewed from the front, allowing for versatile placement in a wide array of spaces and rooms with unusually placed walls. Reminiscent of the designs of aircraft and utilizing brilliant materials with minimal yet dynamic form, this Boka desk my Leon Rosen will style incredibly well in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. In Mind Restored Condition.
