Description
A fine George II mahogany oval drop leaf table on cabriole legs, carved at the knees with shells and bellflowers, and ending in ball and claw feet. English. The quality of this drop leaf table is superb. The sections of the top are all single boards of a good dense mahogany which has a wonderful color and patina. The carved knees and the ball and claw feet are rare on tables of this size, of any size, for that matter.
