Description
A fine mahogany tripod table in the manner of Thomas Chippendale with a single board plum pudding mahogany top, resting on a single turned pillar having carved cabriole legs, molded and carved, terminating on inward scrolls. English circa1760. The superb timber of the top and the style of the moldings on the legs and the scroll feet with pads are all typical of Thomas Chippendale's workshop. Ht. 27.625", Dia. 36.33"
