This coffee table by French house Maison Baguès was created in the early 1960s with solid bamboo shaped brass structure and a beautiful Chinese lacquered top picturing an ancient scenery inside a park. The lacquered top is warm and beautiful, while the brass bamboo feet details provide an imaginative base for the piece. This table is typical of the Chinese inspired work of Maison Baguès in the 1950s and 1960s, and offers a timeless, sophisticated look, with plenty of amazing details. The brass structure has been fully cleaned and polished, and has a beautiful patina, while the Chinese lacquer has been fully restored. The table is now found in a beautiful vintage condition.
