Description
A North Italian carved walnut console table, 17th/18th century, the canted-corner top with a dentil-molded frieze above a paneled central column flanked by boldly carved leafy scroll supports terminating in lion's-paw feet, raised on a stepped octagonal plinth. The richly patinated walnut with old surface, shrinkage, and wear consistent with age; the top original to the base.
