Description
A British Aesthetic Movement octagonal tilt-top tray table with burl wood inset top and mahogany framing. Complex 'ebony' and gilt leaf penwork decoration. There is also a narrow secondary tray with scalloped gallery, which serves as a trestle stretcher in the stand base.

Five decades of antiques collecting experience in a succession of Historic Register homes in Virginia, New York, and Connecticut; and a 1901 beaux arts building on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Open Thursday through Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and on Tuesday and Wednesday by appointment.
