Description
The Chief Justice John Marshall Tea Table
A fine, figured mahogany tea table from Philadelphia with a one-board dish top, birdcage and ball and claw feet. Circa 1770. John Marshall served as a Congressman, Secretary of State and remains the longest serving Supreme Court Chief Justice.
Provenance: Chief Justice John Marshall (1755-1835) to direct descendent. Height: 28"; diameter: 36". -
