Description
Elegant original coffee table from the 1950s, a rare example of Italian craftsmanship design with late Deco influences and highly refined details.
The oval top is made of smoked glass with refined sandblasted engraving depicting a central decorative scene, probably mythological or allegorical, typical of the aesthetics of the post-World War II period.
The structure features sinuous legs in carved dark wood, inspired by animal or anthropomorphic forms, mounted on a light wood base with a natural finish, which creates an elegant material and colour contrast.
