Description
A striking example of early 20th-century Nordic design, this Finnish oak table bridges the elegant curves of Jugend (Art Nouveau) with the emerging geometry of Art Deco. Its refined oval top rests on a bold, architectural pedestal base, giving the piece both sculptural presence and practical versatility.
The central column is fluted, lending vertical rhythm and a sense of craftsmanship, while the wide circular foot is accented by a brass-clad rim, an understated yet sophisticated detail that adds warmth and contrast to the rich oak tones. The proportions make it equally suitable as a center table in an entryway, a side table in a living space, or a compact dining or serving table, or a coffee table.
The clean lines and solid construction reflect the quality of Finnish cabinetry from the period, while the design remains timeless and adaptable to both classic and modern interiors. - More Information
