Oval table in the Gustavian style is finished in grey

This elegant Swedish oval table, dating to circa 1890–1900, is crafted in the beautiful Gustavian style and finished in a soft grey painted surface. The oval-shaped tabletop rests above a substantial apron, where a large drawer is discreetly concealed, offering useful storage while maintaining the table’s clean profile. Four sturdy, ornately carved legs provide an architectural quality and reflect the refined decorative traditions associated with Gustavian furniture. Crafted from a combination of oak and pine, the table balances graceful proportions with a solid, practical construction. Its muted grey finish and restrained ornamentation give it the understated character characteristic of Swedish interiors. A versatile piece suitable as a center table, writing table, or occasional table in both traditional and contemporary settings.
