Description
With the goal of creating pieces of high-design that differed from contemporaries such as Knoll and Herman Miller, Irving & Leon Rosen founded the Pace Collection in 1960. They looked to the simplicity of materials to be the voice of their collection, all expertly fabricated and finished. Polished metals and high gloss exotic veneers were commonplace and to this day remain unapologetically Pace.
This petite accent table is in the style of Pace Collection, it exemplifies the best of Leon Rosen’s aesthetic. The materiality is simple; polished chrome and clear glass - the two come effortlessly come together in a way only Pace could have imagined. The round glass practically hovers atop a seamless chrome column tethered together by a matching chromed disc. The assembly is then set by a chromed base with every fastener completely out of sight.
This table remains in its original condition with considerably minor wear. No chips can be found in the glass or chrome, minor abrasions exist throughout, consistent with age and history. We highly recommend shipment via insured White Glove however these can be disassembled and shipped via Parcel, please contact us for a Parcel quote providing the destination ZIP. -

Message from Seller:
Stories exist in many forms, we see them in objects. The aesthetic of those before us is passed down through their surviving creations. These are the objects we search for; to preserve, refine, & continue the story. Object Refinery combines design obsession, fine craftsmanship, and a love for history in our worldwide search for objects. Based in Connecticut, USA; we partner with a network of local artisans to restore and refine our findings before passing them on to the next collector.
