Description
Pair of Mid-Century Modern Metallic Chrome Side Tables
French, c. 1970
Height 51cm, diameter 40cm
This striking pair of side tables are crafted from chrome, with glass table tops, and are fine examples of the abstract Mid-Century Modern style. Each table stands on a circular chrome base, with a diagonal circular shape connecting it to the chrome and glass tops. When viewed from the side, this unusual form gives each table a Z-shaped profile. The influence of the important US company, The Pace Collection, can be particularly felt in the design of this pair. -
