Paolo Buffa round side table mid 40s.
-
Description
The sinuous legs, joined by a second circular top, display very fine woodwork. This kind of carved elegance is consistent with Buffa's style, especially in the 1940s-1950s production. The acid-etched glass top with wood edging and engraved decoration recalls the sober and sophisticated taste often found in his furniture. The overall composition is very balanced, a typical signature of Buffa, who loved to design elegant yet functional furniture, often in collaboration with top-notch Milanese cabinetmakers.
