An original finish dark mahogany tilt-top candle stand, on 'bird cage' to permit swiveling. Single board dish rim top. Tripod Queen Anne snake feet. Lancaster or York County, Pennsylvania origin. Likely the same maker as the slightly smaller candle stand #1 that we simultaneously offer, together they could constitute a fine collector's fraternal unmatched pair. Candlestands #1 and #2 are pictured together in the last image of this listing.

Five decades of antiques collecting experience in a succession of Historic Register homes in Virginia, New York, and Connecticut; and a 1901 beaux arts building on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Open Thursday through Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and on Tuesday and Wednesday by appointment.
