Fine set of English Regency Rosewood Quartetto TeaTables of a particular high quality suggesting the possibility of being the work of Gillows Lancaster . These nesting tables are a typical English design of the last quarter of the eighteenth century - as per Thomas Sheraton Design Books .

Noticeably the finely selected Rosewood veneers having a wonderful tobacco leaf pattern and the boxwood fleur - de- lys marquetry design to each of the four corners are far above the normal standard for English cabinet makers ........

These four tables of diminishing dimensions are perfect as scatter tables around ones drawing room for use as wine or tea tables .
