A striking Art Deco console table attributed to the style of Raymond Subes (French, 1891–1970), one of the most celebrated metalworkers of the early 20th century and a leading figure in French decorative arts.
This piece features a sculptural wrought iron base with elegant scrollwork and distinctive twisted rope-form supports, characteristic of Subes’ refined yet architectural approach to iron design. The base is paired with a warm-toned goatskin top, creating a strong contrast between industrial material and classic finish.
